“Since lockdown rules were eased, I’ve been meeting on Sunday afternoons in Holyrood Park with a small group of artists to play and figure out how to take my creative practice outside. I really needed to get out and dance to help me process all that was building up in my body, my mind, my heart.  I realised I didn’t need permission for this. Initially I tried on my own but it didn’t feel 'right', so I asked others to join me.  It’s been, and continues to be glorious and challenging and healing for me.

This has grown into Curious Seed’s new research project: Field - Something For The Future Now. We’ve been gently playing and discovering together - using the 2-metre distance as an interesting challenge. We’ve been dancing together without touching. We’ve been exploring the stunning Holyrood Park as our studio. We’ve been connecting…we’ve been doing The Slosh…”
